Canadian Year in Freiburg 2011-12 (CYF)
Canadian Year in Freiburg
Organized by the German Departments of Acadia University, Brock University, Trent University, and the University of British Columbia.
- A year of study (11 months) in Germany with a Canadian Resident Director for Canadian University credit.
- An opportunity open to students at all Canadian universities in most disciplines, not restricted to German majors.
- A fully organized program which includes arrangements for a German student and work visa, a group flight, ground transportation, accommodation in residences, and health insurance.
- A year that starts with a four-week immersion course in Freiburg in September, offers courses in German language, cultural history, and literature taught by the Resident Director.
- A program which provides academic counseling and access to a large variety of courses at the University of Freiburg in many disciplines.
- All this at a cost of approximately the same as a year of study at a Canadian university away from home.
