Photocopying

Current students and staff at the Faculty of Dentistry can print, photocopy and scan at the library from 2 multi-purpose machines.

There is also one photocopier for the rest of the UofT Community and members of the public. Copies cost 15 cents per page if you use change, or 10 cents per page if you use a Dentistry Library copy card. The machines accept all coins except pennies.

Copy cards are available from the public service desk. There are two options: $10 for 100 copies, or $20 for 200 copies. There is also a $1 deposit required for the card. (Please note that prices are subject to change.)

When your card is empty, you can bring it the desk, where you can either:

  • refill it with an additional $10 or $20 (please first ensure that the card is empty); or
  • turn it in (your $1 deposit will be refunded).
Unfortunately TCards do not work with our photocopier, nor do copy cards from other libraries.

Please note that there are no refunds on unused portions of copy cards.

Library patrons are responsible for complying with the terms of the University's CANCOPY license, and with the Canadian Copyright Act.

If you encounter any problems with the photocopier or multi-purpose machines, please don't hesitate to ask Library staff for help.
