Library orientation

Library orientation is offered regularly near the beginning of the academic year. Students are given a tour of the library and an overview of its collections, services, and facilities.

If you are a faculty or staff member who would like to arrange a special orientation session for a new group of students, please contact the Faculty Librarian: library.dentistry@utoronto.ca.

Instruction in library use

Library research classes, including Ovid Medline sessions, are offered by the Dental Library each fall.

To arrange a special Medline session for a small group, or to have a librarian do a presentation to your class contact the Faculty Librarian: library.dentistry@utoronto.ca.

U of T Libraries offers various classes on how to do library research. Please see Library Instruction (which also includes some library tips).
