Faculty of Dentistry exams:

The Dental Library has copies of recent Faculty of Dentistry examinations for the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) program. Reference copies, which can only be used in the library, are kept at the public service desk. Additional, circulating copies of some exams are shelved in the Reading room.

Eligibility exams

Please note that the library does not have copies of the Eligibility Exam administered by the Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry as an admissions requirement for qualifying programs for foreign-trained dentists. For information about the Eligibility Exam, please see the web site of the Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry.

National Dental Examining Board Of Canada

While the library does not have copies of exams from the National Dental Examining Board Of Canada, please note that the Board's web site contains some released exam questions, along with information about the exams. Please see the "Accredited Program" section of the web site of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada.

U.S. National Board Dental Examination Program

The library has acquired copies of the released exams from the U.S. National Board Dental Examination Program (which are published by the American Student Dental Association). Copies of the NBD exams from 1982 on are kept at the public service desk. A person may borrow a maximum of two of these exams at one time (whether for in-library use or on overnight loan). Also, please note that there is an additional, non-circulating, bound copy of most of these exams in the Reading Room, along with some earlier NDB exams.

Here is a list of the NDB exams since 1982, showing the location of the library's copies, and indicating their circulation status (either reference, which means they can only be used in the library, or overnight loan).
