The Department of Alumni Relations works to keep alumni in touch with the Faculty and with each other through a variety of professional, educational and social programs.

We support student activities, and strive to improve the quality of student life. We support the Alumni Association, class reunions, alumni receptions at professional meetings, the Awards of Distinction GALA, Alumni Golf Tournament, student mentorship and other opportunities for camaraderie and fundraising.

We also support student excellence and positive experiences, like the White Coat Ceremony, Dentantics, Student Research Group Travel Grants, and the Dental Students Society.

Awards of Distinction GALA
Each year, individuals who, by their contributions to society, have brought honour and distinction to themselves and by so doing have added distinction to our profession are honoured at a gala event, which raises funds to assist patients facing financial hardship.

Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament in mid-September raises funds for student activities.
