Residencies in General Dentistry

Dental residencies are available annually for a period of one calendar year starting in June. Successful applicants will be registered as postgraduate students in the Faculty of Dentistry for the length of their appointment. The withdrawal of government funding has reduced remuneration and the number of positions that can be offered to qualified applicants. However, the annual stipend is in the range of $30,000 CDN (less reasonable deductions). Please note that in the Province of Ontario , while registered as a dental resident, candidates will not be permitted to maintain their interest free loan status of Provincial Government loans.
