Elective Programs Administrative Fees

The administrative fee must accompany the application before it can be processed. Payment will be accepted in the form of a certified cheque or money order payable (in Canadian funds) to the University of Toronto (applications submitted with personal cheques will not be accepted).

Receipt of application will be acknowledged by e-mail only.

Receipt of the application and fee does not guarantee confirmation of placement in a program. If a request for placement cannot be accommodated, the University of Toronto will retain $50.00 of the administration fee and the balance will be refunded to the applicant.

If the applicant requests to be able to remain in their elective for a longer period of time within the same academic year (July 1 – June 30) then the difference in fees would be charged (e.g. if you have requested an 8 week elective and paid $440, and you later decide to do 24 weeks, the outstanding balance would be $5,000-$440 = $4,560).
