This conference brought together diverse perspectives on the topic of access to medicines, trade rules and human rights from academics, NGOs and policy-makers. The first session explored Canadian, Indian and Brazilian perspectives on this issue, as well as a report on the World Health Organization’s Intergovernmental Working Group on Public Health, Innovation and Intellectual Property. The second session focussed on Chinese perspectives on this question. We are pleased to be able to make the presentations from this conference available to a broader audience.
