To Reach The Conference Venue From The Airport...

The cheapest method is a bus-subway combination, but this requires carrying your luggage on and off the subway, and in one case, changing subway trains. Alternatively, you can either take the "Airport Express" direct bus service or share a limousine or taxi. The cost per vehicle is much higher, but the fee remains the same no matter how many people share the ride (up to 4).

All of the following start at the airport. Look for signs or ask the information attendants for the service you wish.

Option 1: Bus-Subway:

1. City shuttle bus. The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) runs an express shuttle bus to the Kipling subway station for $2.00. Take the subway ($2.00) east to the St. George station, change trains and go south to the Osgood station. Exit from the station to Queen St. East and walk one block east to the conference hotels.

2. GO transit bus to the Yorkdale subway station is $2.95 one way. Take the subway ($2.00) south to the Osgood station. Exit from the station to Queen St. East and walk one block east to the conference hotels.

3. Airport Express bus to the Yorkdale subway station is $7.25 one way, $12.50 round trip. Take the subway ($2.00) south to the Osgood station. Exit from the station to Queen St. East and walk one block east to the conference hotels.

Option 2: "Airport Express" Bus direct to the hotel:

Airport Express service to major hotels including the Sheraton is $13.75 one way, $23.65 round trip. For further information, click here.

Option 3: Taxi and limousine service:

Taxi - Approximately $30 one way
Limousine - Approximately $33 one way

If you are driving:

1. Approaching from the Southwest (Niagara Falls)

Take the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) east to Toronto. Change to Lake Shore Blvd. or Gardiner Expressway at the city line. Take the York St. exit and continue north on York St. For the Hilton stay to the left, turn left onto Richmond and left into the Hilton reception area. For the Sheraton stay to the right, turn right on Queen St. and right into the Sheraton reception area.

2. Approaching from the West along route 401 (MacDonald-Cartier Freeway)

Exit south along route 427. Follow signs for Toronto and change to Lake Shore Blvd. or Gardiner Expressway. Proceed as above.

3. Approaching from the East (Kingston) along route 401(MacDonald-Cartier Freeway).

Exit south on the Don Valley Parkway. Exit to Richmond St. (one way). For the Sheraton keep to the right. After you pass Bay St. look on the right for the entrance sign to the Sheraton reception area. For the Hilton keep to the left. Turn left into the Hilton just past York St. In either case if you cross University Avenue (wide street with a boulevard), you have gone too far.

NB -- The Sheraton symbol is shown on the map below. The Hilton is virtually next door.
