    Komuro-Lee Sensei's specialization is Japanese linguistics and pedagogy as well as discourse analysis. She holds a B.A. in Italian language and an M.A. in Japanese Linguistics from Osaka University of Foreign Studies in Japan.

    Professor Nakajima specializes in Japanese-English bilingual education, language acquisition and second language pedagogy. She is President Emerita of the Canadian Association for Japanese Language Education and currently an elected Board member of the Association of Teachers of Japanese in the United States. Her academic credentials include a B.A. in linguistics; M.A., linguistics and second language education from the International Christian University in Tokyo, and Phil.M., University of Toronto (East Asian Studies). Recent publications include:
    Kotoba to Kyooiku (Language and Education), 1998; Bairingaru Kyooiku no Hoohoo (Methodologies of Bilingual Education), 1998; and Kodomo no Kaiwaryoku no Mikata to Kyooka (Oral Proficiency Assessment for Bilingual Children), 2000. She is currently working on a new book Can Technology Really Help?: CALL for Japanese Language Learners.
