What will be the future of the Arab joint action? The author notes that the future of Arab cooperation depends on what policies are followed by Arab leaders, and whether a transformation in Arab public opinion occurs. Fruitful inter-Arab cooperation should be based on the mobilisation of domestic resources and the realization of major democratic transformations. The article concludes by few remarks on major obstacles hindering the process of Arab integration.
