Collaborative Graduate Program in Ethnic and Pluralism Studies

 

CERES is a member of the Collaborative Graduate Program in Ethnic and Pluralism Studies. Students in the program must apply to and register with CERES and must follow a program of studies acceptable to both CERES and the Ethnic and Pluralism Studies Program. Upon successful completion of the requirements, students receive the notation "Completed Collaborative Program in Ethnic and Pluralism Studies" on their transcripts, in addition to the MA in European, Russian and Eurasian Studies.

Program Requirements

  • two half-courses in ethnicity from two different disciplines;
  • the half-year coordinating seminar in ethnicity (JTH 3000H: Ethnic Relations Theory, Research, and Policy);
  • it is understood that the major paper required by CERES will be in an area of ethnic studies.
