Highlighted here are the outstanding contributions to Medicine by some of the eminent former recipients of a seed research grant from The Banting Research Foundation. The goal of the Foundation is to support Canadian scientists at the beginning of their research career to pursue novel approaches to the understanding and treatment of human disease. In fulfilling this mandate, the Foundation anticipates that present and future grantees will likewise earn worldwide renown through their achievements in medical science and contributions to the cure of human disease.
